Wakefield Raceway - Track Day 23/08

Wakefield Raceway is where you get to take your own car out on the track with no speed limits; "Speed off the streets" as they call it. Sorry, no passengers allowed.

WHEN: Saturday 23rd August 2014. Meet at 6AM, Liverpool KKs

COST AND REQUIREMENTS:

- $160 + $50 for an annual AASA licence (+ fuel money and food)
- approved helmet and long clothing (long pants/long shirt/closed in shoes)
- roadworthy car. That includes no major oil leaks, tyres with tread, secure battery etc

After a call to Wakefield Park
- confirmed - NO passengers.
- no max/min cars BUT max of 16 cars on the track at one time
- only a couple of Saturdays available a year. 23rd August seems to be the most suitable (other date is April)
- confirmed - $160 for the day (until they close) + $50 for the AASA licence
- event is still on if it rains

It says on the page- no passengers on speed off the street days. Maybe its a new rule

Ring them up an ask them about it. Cause as annabelle said probably a new rule.

Do we need a certain amount to do this track day?

No minimum, pretty sure. Anyone is welcome. ..it is a local event that happens quite a lot every year. I have had the 300zx club invited (stacey..you know why)

Ahh what? They may be fat and heavy, but the twin-turbo Z cars are seriously quick.

I have 2 weeks free in April so fingers crossed on my part.
I will have a more deffinate answer once more details are made available.
