Are these like the previous models where lowering them too much actually hurts handling?

no doubt.

But in previous models lowering them that much would invert the lower suspension arms. I'm not sure about X's, but if that was a CT9A, being that low would negatively affect the handling of it.

Cheers. Contemplating on wrapping the roof in carbon and spraying both bonnet vents in plastidip (white) to finish the exterior off.
