Hi ClubCJ from au3 - Sydney / Australia

Postby au3 » Mon Dec 30, 2013 1:21 am

Hi guys. New to ClubCJ and owner of a white manual 2012 CJ ES from Liverpool / Sydney area.

Had the mod bug when i saw other members rides on ClubCJ

first mod i did to my CJ was window tinting and debadging of the 'LANCER' and 'ES' badge on the rear bumper.

planning on getting a cat back exhaust for my next mod. probably a 2 1/4" cat back as i have read that it gives better gains for our N/A lancers. Does any one recommend a good muffler and fabrication shop in the Liverpool / Sydney area?

Thanks,
Au3

Welcome mate...

Xforce makes a sweet looking axle back system..

For custom work, I have used castle hill exhaust centre twice and both times I was very happy with the quality of their work as well as their prices.

Thanks guys for the input. Will be definitely be looking into these auto shops. Quick question. Does our CJ have two resonators because I have read in some post that they do. "I was like what?' Any disadvantage when I go custom cat back with only one resonator. or will it just make a louder exhaust noise?

U could check out liverpool exhaust since they r nice and close. And to my understanding the cj has one resonators but if they did have 2 and u end up with 1, it would b beneficial and it would be more noisier, but ayy loud pipes saves lives

has anyone done their exhaust set up at Liverpool exhaust? and how was the results? also since in leaning more towards a 2 1/4" cat back what are the advantages and disadvantages of getting 2 1/2" pipes? would it be better if I just stay with 2 1/4" pipes.
