'Platinum' pack Lancer released

All models have ABS, EBD, EBA, ASC and ATC. ES only has 3 air bags (Driver, Driver's Knee and Front Passenger) where as VR, VRX and Aspire get the full suite of 7 Air bags.

The ES comes with a knee airbag as well.

They priced my Platinum the same as a VR, $27990 driveaway. I got one of the last two left in the dealership and I love the chrome.

Cnt be srs. ES comes standard with knee airbag. Mitsu fail if they didnt put one in.

They get a different spec. He doesn't get ASC, just ABS and a 1.8L 4B10 (correct me if I'm wrong M@verick)

I find it funny, on all the american forums, everyone bitches about how they dont like the chrome trim at the front and they black it out. And us AUS es owners get it for frreeeee. Cant believe mitsu makes you pay extra for it though.

Well its classified a GLS here. Comes with only two airbags, ABS, EBD and its a 2L 4B11, but u also get the 1.5 4A10 ( I think its called).

Some don't like chrome because for them it diminishes the sportiness of the car. Conversely, the Lancer Ralliart has chrome galore but still retains the performance look. For me chrome makes the car look more upscale and luxurious.
