??? Huh ??? Am I missing something ?

I called MPS again today, and low and behold after the phone ringing for ages someone answered. But didn't say ' MPS Garage '. I asked if this was MPS and they said yes. I then proceeded to ask what was going on, and told them the whole story as it was a different guy I hadn't spoken to before. He said that there had been some kind of family deaths or something and that the place was operating on a skeleton crew and that's why no one has been there.

Well this could be true, or it could be another continuation of all the crap they have been coming up with. I said look I'm sorry if there have been deaths, this happens, but you guys should have put a message on the phone, or webpage, or something! I told him that my bank was doing an investigation and was going to reverse the transaction, but if I could actually get the exhaust I would stop this. The guy gave me the same story - there is 3 shipping containers of stuff there that they are trying to get through.

Now maybe its all just a big series of unfortunate events, maybe its all just BS. I don't know - bottom line is if any of it is true, they should have AT LEAST put some kind of message up to notify customers they were away. It still doesn't excuse their woeful delivery time and customer service however.

We'll see what happens over the course of the week. The bank should be calling me towards the end of this week or early next week.

The saga continues...
MAP EF2 turbo , DW65 fuel pump, ID1000 injectors, EvoX FMIC, UR dump pipe, 100 cell cat, CP-E Exhaust, aFe air filter...and mud flaps!

O m g

I got the exact same story. I went crazy at "Aaron" when he told
Me he had health problems and deaths and the whole debacle of shipping container crap. Kinda wish I did a post only experience when it happened to me to shine light on them.!

Sad thing is it can happen with any company. I did once hear good things from mps garage so I thought nothing bad would happen. Til I handed my money over to those pricks.

I really wouldn't 'do the right thing' and 'buy locally' because this is how people end up with Commodores. Any branded performance part distributed in Australia will most certainly have gazillions of tax added to the price, so it's really better to shop online from a reputable US seller. You also just need to be patient in finding the best shipping costs. That's because some sellers are consigned to expensive couriers such as UPS and won't ship any other way.

Hopefully, your issue is solved. And thanks for sharing in detail what you've experienced so no one else will have to.

little off topic.
one thing that annoys me is that online u can find heaps of exhaust for the EVO and they are all like $500 to $600 and that includes delivery and thats not a bad price but for RA's they are far and few between and they cost minimum $850, and thats what made that exhaust so appealing even to me.
i just wish they would make exhausts for this car that wernt so expensive.
rant over.

I actually just bought a AEM intake from MPS Garage as well. Called him then, answered first go both times. He is saying the AEM Intake is on back order. Don't know if I should give him the benefit of the doubt. Though he did say sorry for being away over the last 10 days, and that he will let me know about the intake in the next 3 business days. If I don't get a reply I will lodged a refund through pay pal :D
