I was thinking exactly the same. I was going to hire 2 mx-5z so my cuz and I could both drive. It never happened though. I ended up doing Cradle mountain in a 10 seater bus.

I noticed a lot if wrx' in Tas. I figure there must be a reason. The other reason I didn't want to do a convertible is because it's damn cold down there

I'm bringing the RA over on the boat for christmas, will be speding most of the time in Hobart, but will be in Launceston for a day to see some friends.

When I had my Previous car I was going to go to TAzzie, but ended up staying in Melbourne for a week!

Kinda wish I did go to tazzie cause it's easier to get to VIC than what it is Taz!

Last time i went to Tassie I was driving a rented Kia Grand Carnival. sure... it was V6... but man... so slow!

Definately take a drive to Russells Fall, and if time premit, drive further along that road to the dam.

Also Wineglass bay and Honeymoon bay is well worth a visit.

Oh dont get me wrong. It was great fun! The V6 engine makes it sound really fast. But the weight kept it back.

On the other hand. my friends and i did make it take off at the lights, wheel spin and all

that was pretty funny...

The sidling/St Mary's Pass are also a great place to drive through

The road is windy and just amazing

Haven't taken my car through either of them yet xD But my beloved will be getting her St Mary's Pass virginity taken over the Christmas break!

first time I took my fiancees old boxxy box Festiva through there... Pretty sure He nearly wet himself xD Was my first time, but it was sooooo much fun! the corners <3

When I lived there many moons ago, use to go out to golden valley with the drift guys. Not sure if the police have put a stop to that now days. Haven't seen anyone for years.
