they may be able to if they delve into it but its not noticeable if u remove the upgrade.
some say theres a flash counter in the TCU but they`d really have to look for it, its still to be proved the counter even exists.
f t dont show up on the display screen when u try to engage it why would they bother looking further.
but theres always that risk.
the stupid thing is the gearbox is much more reliable with the flash on, so mitsu would be saving money if they allowed it or even promoted it.
i had clutch rattles and shuddering hill starts before i put t on, now it purrs lke a kitten

Thanks for the replies Steve. The car I'm considering getting has the ssport flash and it has been done by beeble. Also where I am I have access to an awesome tuner who will be able to remove it easily. But there is not much warranty left on the car as it's an 09 model.
Saying a car is for going form A to B is like saying sex is for reproduction!
I've a Beeble tuned car with SSport put on by him. No problems at all. Car runs perfectly fine and is an absolute joy to drive.
So you know how long the SSport has been on the car for? If there are no issues for a long period of time then its probably safe to say that it is ok.
From what i have heard, if the car doesnt like the SSport it will start the rev hunting problem really early on.
