Haigh is the manufacturer - and their brand name is called Sunlander I am pretty sure.

Unless the aprticular autobarn you walk inot happens to have one in stock, you generally have to order them and they take 2-3 weeks to come.

Sorry to dig this up again, but here is another picture I have taken myself showing the bag does come out the top, like I have said all along :P

EDIT: I just noticed something... See where "SRS Airbag" is written, is everybody's the same? My Lancer is not home atm so I can't check myself, but I think mine is written below that join...

Well there ya go. Heres the proof. Thanks for posting that adrian

But i must ask...

You really think a piece of carpet could hinder what is esentally a bomb in your dash? Not trying to be smart or anything but i rekon the dash mat will just be blown outa the way...

I understand your point Tadz, but myself do not want to find out the hard way, and neither should anybody.

Nope in the same location Adrian.

I have had to remove the glovebox and covers when doing otherstuff and way the module is installed ours definitely come out of the top aswell.

As the Haigh guys said it's stupid, because they have to replace the whole top of the dash (for the whole width of the car) after a crash because of that.

Just hit up autobarn, they can hook you up with one similar to mine. Hopefully one with the airbag deployment cutout piece.

not sure how you'd go with the coloured trimimng though. If i remember correctly, since there was a change to the design he wasnt able to offer the coloured trim..No idea why though...

I think the biggest issue is that the dashmat would probably be blown.... but there is a good chance it is blown straight into yours or your passengers head.... risky business......
