Evo 8 style spoiler??

Postby Nicho » Tue Jun 02, 2009 11:01 pm

Hey I was just wondering if anyone knows where I can find an evo 8 style spoiler that fits our car from. Infinite has one fitted to his car so have a look in the garage if you don't know what I am talking about and he got his fitted from the dealer. I know SSV offer this part but it costs $528 unpainted plus shipping or $748 painted plus shipping and I am not prepaired to spend $800 on it. http://ssv.com.au/product.php?2368

XDC also have this spoiler but from what I have read on their website they only sell to dealers..? Has anyone had any prior dealings with them or does anyone know where else I can get a spoiler like this from. I personally prefer this spoiler than the evo X spoiler but if i can't find this spoiler I will probably end up buying the evo X spoiler.

Yeah, me too. It moulds around to suit the CJ better. The evo 8-9 spoiler is a rectangular box on your boot lid. Might as well get an STI spoiler.

The company that makes that evo 9 spoiler on ebay (T-Jam Autos) also makes an evo 10 spoiler for $250 bucks. Call me Captain Skeptismo but I think the quality you get for that kind of money aint that good. It would fail in comparison to the product that Shadows makes!!!!

+1 Azza.
X-Factor is the only company that makes the Evo-X Spoiler....to OEM.
the others would def' FAIL in comparison.

I was pm'd by Ofey about the weird body kit for the CJ lancer. I like it but a bit skeptical getting a whole body kit from Singapore (quality no probs, but freight and getting the right people to put it on etc.....I want something different to spruce up the look. The XDC one looks OK, but for a car that has been out nearly 2 years, there is bugger all in the body kit department for here in Aus. This aint bad

The colour of the car and the micro grille does ruin it. Its as if they thought "how can we make this chrome around the grill any more creepy" I would like to change mine on the RA to a VRX one. Looks more like an evo and more agressive.

Ive always disliekd the chrome trim tbh.
take it off, take it all off, in the words of [insert pornstar here]

i always loved the evo front end, but with the VRX pods - which is what my car is aiming for.
