Haha, I love reading reviews where the writer complains about the harsh ride and fuel consumption of a performance car, then in the next article is whining about the lack of power and handling in another

What did they expect?!

One of the more recent gripes I have about the Lancer is the lack of automatic windows for the 3 other windows! I think it's the same even in the Evolution X.

Kinda noticed this over the weekend, even though I've owned the car for a couple of months now I should have noticed it sooner, but I don't like how in the LX the electric seat adjuster, I find it hard with long legs to be close to the pedals :S I gotta have space O_O I don't know if I haven't adjusted it properly yet or what :S but I'm not liking it xD

The fuel consumption of all CJs is horrendous by today's standards, performance models or not. >10L/100km was acceptable for a sports car a while ago, but not now.

A 328i also runs a turbo four, makes slightly more power and torque than a Ralliart yet uses half the fuel. Same with Golf GTi, Focus ST....anything built in the last couple of years. A Supercharged V8 Range Rover will give an Evo a run for it's money in fuel economy.

The CJ Lancer is so far behind the competition in every area you'd have to be bonkers to buy one in 2013, but that's what happens when you keep selling the same model with no updates for over 6 years. And the warranty isn't even there to fall back on these days...

You know what I don't like about the lancer?

It has its own forum with a thread that degrades itself. :P

Highway driving I get around 7.1 if I'm lucky :P Although when my partner drives it he's often sitting around 9-10L/100ks, Only because it's manual and he drives an auto and obviously doesn't have as much fun as I do driving xP haha..

I'm getting about 600-650km out of a tank these days. .__.

And yeah with Evos and RAs the fuel economy's pretty horrid for today's standards.. which sucks :(
