There was alot of smoke taking Putty Road but we werent too worried as cars and truck coming from other direction. Reed that story gave me goosebumps! I hope you stay safe and got some great pics! Doreen - What amazing footage! On our way to Sydney I saw a few places where fire had crossed the highway whilst we were driving to Sydney along the coast road and I was thinking how scary it would have been to experience it and how quickly it must have happened. My house backs onto bushland and also ontop of a hill. Im very concious that fire travels twice as fast up hill. Its so dry up here at moment the grass is crunching under foot. I hope we dont experience the same fate as NSW. Stay safe everyone!
Hi Jade , I was thinking of you & Steve driving down when the fires were on & glad you's didn't get stuck them

Job well done Reed !!! ......

... Is there still fire up in springwood??? I heard on the radio last week that it was still burning!!! I think that was the massive one out of all the fires that we've had!!
The Blue Mountains Fires are still burning Michael but mainly in remote areas at this stage
... The firies are a bit concerned as tomorrow " Sunday " is supposed to be in the mid 30's & windy again so hoping it dosen,t flare the fires up more
