I didn't think AYC has any control over physical steering, doesn't it just control braking and power distribution?
ABS in my car can be pretty noisy, maybe something happened (diff?) and then a wheel or two locked from AYC freaking out?
I'm hardly an expert but it does sound like it must've started with a mechanical fault such as your back diff jamming... That would slide the back out easily.
Sounds very weird.
If the conditions were safe and you weren't speeding and there were no witnesses to say it was somehow your fault, and nobody has shown you had a poorly maintained vehicle or the like, how can they fine you? Surely it can't default to 'you crashed, its your fault'?
Oh well best of luck man, get better.

+1. Very weird. What was their explaination behind the fine?
Best of luck with the court case, and get well!

holy crap. glad to hear youre ok. That sounds bloody scary. Get better soon!
do you think it might have been a computer glitch somewhere? did you say tyre blow out as a possible original cause of this?
Maybe it blew out. ecu detects discrepancy in wheel speed etc. goes into overactive drive. traction control ayc the lot. could explain why the abs went on and turned it purple if its trying to keep the four wheels spinning at the same rate.
excessive heat and electrical power... causes a short? feedback? battery overheats and explodes?
im just guessing here...

Good that you're OK, but I wouldn't worry too much about not posting details of the accident location for 'legal reasons' when already:
1. While trying to portray your driving as undeserving of a negligent driving offence, your signature says "its those times when something happens to your car that was out of your control and you laugh about it ,you know it was fun, and you would do it again, and you should have listened to your mate who said "i told you so""
2. While arguing that your car is well maintained you've got threads asking about tuning problems, bragging about glowing manifolds and discussing things breaking from your 'abusive driving'.
3. You're trying to point the finger at Mitsubishi for for some kind of AYC problem, when only a couple of months ago you told us all about how to did AYC maintenance yourself to avoid having to go back and forth to the dealer.
Just some friendly advice...

Don't get all defensive, I'm just telling you what I see. Mate, I have driven as hard as anyone at the track and I'm not saying you shouldn't, just pointing out that if you are concerned about things you write on the internet affecting a legal case you're involved in then you should have thought about that a long time ago.
And fair dinkum, if you've spun off the track many times you need to get some lessons. Most track days I've attended are completed safely with barely a tyre off the road. If you've been thrashing your car as hard as you claim to have, it is no surprise that it suffered a mechanical failure that put the lives of yourself, your passengers and anyone else at risk.
If you are really going to take everyone to court, make sure get assistance from someone that speaks English as their first language.
