New member from sydney. Hey!

Hey guys. Just found out about this forum recently, despite owning my lancer for a year now. I drive a 2.0 litre auto es (throwing that out there at the risk of ridicule by a ralliart or evo owner). My old man put a deposit down on the car and I pay it off now. I never really intended to mod my lancer at all, but i was starting to get really bored with its stock look. I'm only 18 after all. And after a hit and run to my front bumper, i decided id kick things off with an aftermarket evo bumper. Since then I've put on an aftermarket evo wing and a few little things here and there like smoked side blinkers. I'd like to put side skirts on soon as well as a new set of rims and lowered suspension. I'm contemplating a rear diffuser but not sure if it's worth doing. In terms of performance, ive only put a k&n high performance box air filter in and I'm looking into a mivec controller just for fun. Any advice on that would be great, actually. So that's my hello to you all i guess.

Oh yeah, forgot to ask. Anyone else on here with the same model or engine as myself? Or is this mainly a ralliart/evo owners club?

hey, welcome!,

nope this isn't a ralliart/evo dominaneted club, you will find more non-turbo lancers here

I had my lancer SX once upon a time, and now a happy evo owner, hop on chat and have a talk to everyone

and post up some pics, in the member gallery!

were also organizing a meet in the other thread, it could be good to come by and check out ideas and mods done by other people too!

hey welcome, u will find most ppl drive the 2.0l an engines on this forum, so ur in luck

if u ever want to find out anything just ask, and everyone will come to ur rescue.

where abouts in Sydney r u from?

Thats good to hear! I'm still learning how to navigate this site. I love my car so i think id like to become quite active in this forum. Oh and i live in Hurstville

there is threads if u ever need to work out navigation

oh yeah, maybe u would want to contribute to the EOI meet/cruise for nsw thts happening at the moment

I'm sure you'll find lots of people with the same model car and with plenty of advice for mods too!

Since you're in Sydney you might as well ask Merlin for an engine tune. You won't need any fancy MIVEC controllers etc. You'll save some fuel too.
