it was half throttle going to FULL. but it was only just on boost. didnt even get to 4.5k revs.....

Wasnt it found that anything over 5-6 pound of boost was risking damage and over 9-10 pound would cause damage? What boost was it tuned for?

I dont know what boost you were running, but Bens turbo conversion was running around for a year or so on 12psi (stock EvoX actuator) without an issue so I doubt it was a straight boost problem.

More likely some sort of oil supply failure. Or crap rods.

Yeah it was running 13psi merlin. Beeble had everything sorted.

I did Hve a boost gauge on my phone reading through the obd ll.

Had a boost spike or something at 21psi. But not sure what happens.

needs proper internals for reliability.
also a few old evos X have some factory H rods going bust. not high tensile to withstand pressures and heat on the exhaust.
