Hi all, n00b with a question.

Hi everyone, my name is xander, im from wodonga, vic.

About a year ago my girlfriend brought herself a 2010 ES Lancer, since that point ive had some fun changing a few things.

Ive added VRX rims, spoiler, blacked out the front middle part of the front bar, with chrome surround, upgraded the steering wheel to one with audio controls, Alpine head unit, aftermarket amp and sub. Which brings me to the question with which i have been scratching my head over for weeks.

When installing the apline head unit i needed to retain my steering wheel controls, so i purchased an ASWC-1 kit to do so.

I have installed it all correctly, tried to program it, have had multiple emails between myself and tech support and have gotten no where with any of it.

Has anyone installed this and had an issue?

Basically my controls are all over the shop. Volume up is non responsive, volume down is the only button that works, mode mutes it, and the buttons that would normally change song both turn the volume up.

Pin 9 (SWC) wire works fine, gives me a reading on the multi meter, everything is wired correctly, all with solder.

Anyone have ANY ideas? Im scratching my head here and any help would be awesome!

Thanks, Xander.

hey xander, welcome, nice mods, I can only think there is a problem with the kit, if everything is wired the right way

I was hoping that was the case. Going to have a look again tomorrow afternoon.
