Sunroof mod

Hey guys

I was 'considering' getting a sunroof for my lancer in the future once I get my new VRX. Why? Because I like the sky. Accept it

I've searched the club for topics related to lancer sunroofs and there's another thread called "aftermarket sunroofs in sydney" but it appears that the company listed is no longer there.

Does anyone know where to get sunroofs today for our lancers? Is it an option when you buy a new lancer?

It used to be an option when you bought the car, Speedie has an OEM one in his VRX

I have no idea if you can have it as an option in the lower spec Lancers.

Can't recommend where either since you're in Sydney, but I do know you're looking @ roughly $2500 if you're going aftermarket.

Aspired has an aftermarket sunroof. But he's in VIC.

The OEM slides into the roof and you don't get a centre roof light. would recommend getting rid of any chrome around the gear stick as it does seem to reflect the sun into your eyes.

Well like u I like the sky too, in fact I like it so much I've been contemplating a convertible conversion, although I don't know how it would look on our lancers, and I know you can buy sunroofs of different types in sydney but I'm not sure if they just sell, or if they do installs as well, but my main concern is will water leak in if its aftermarket

So what about a targo? (Not sure on spelling) but the one where u can open one half of the sunroof would b the way to go for SUNroof or windows for the top of our heads

ill behonest with u tom , if the car dosent already have a sun roof in it do not put one in because it will be more trouble than good , u need to make sure its sealed correctly meaning no leaks and so on .. i wouldnt be doing it

yeah but what im saying is bye the car with it already done , dont put it in after u have bought the car .... look for a lancer with it already in !
