Higher RPMs, I can really feel the kick, but when the rpms are lower, it feels like my corolla is quicker! Yes, I have the CVT. Its a bit weird at first (no gear change rpm drops!), but I am getting used to ut.

As someone who knew nothing about cars last year, SIX420 made a joke that CVTs sound like cows and I was just reminiscing that moment when he told me and I couldn't stop laughing due to how true it was xD

couple of quick updates. I changed my plates to slimline black, got my windows tinted and picked up a few shinies to play with :)

I may be wrong
but
those fog lamp chrome surrounds are NOT going to fit on your car... .

Looks like you were right offey. They are too small? I emailed the seller to see If they sent me the wrong ones. The handles are Ok so not sure why the fog surrounds won't fit.

The new Lancers later than MY13 VRXs use the Ralliart front bumper bar.
You will find the fog lamps are different to those on the ES/VR/LX/SX/RS range of cars since the bumper bar design is different.

No seller anywhere in the world has made a Chrome fog light surround for the RA front bumper bar.

It's not the sellers fault.
It is indeed for a Lancer ES model.
A number of members here have been done by the same thing.
If you complain to eBay, it's caveat emptor.
They sold you the right thing but the variation in car in the Au Domestic Market is not their fault.
Yours indeed is a NA Lancer but Mitsubishi changed the front bar for the release.

There is an OEM chrome fog light surround in Europe for the RA but it's prohibitively expensive.

Just so you're aware also many of the aftermarket parts like headers (aka extractors), panel air filters and exhaust mufflers (HKS or GReddy) are not a direct fit on you car. So again, caveat emptor.

IF you have a MMCS system in your car, it's also a new version.

I'm not the CHIEF BUYER on this club for nothing *wink*

Hope to see you soon at a meet... .

Yeah mine came with MMCS as standard. Nice to know that most things won't fit! Any idea if after market Headlights/taillights will fit?

Also my dealer told me that the cj lancer will be discontinued this year, with a new model next year. So it makes no sense to change pays designs etc.

I reckon aftermarket headlights would fit on MY14. I don't think they would change the size of headlights on the very last few lancers they'll make :O

Headlights and Tailights should work no problem. The electronics are pretty much the same.

Thanks for the clarification. I'm not sure what to make of MMCS yet. I was a bit disappointed that our doesn't have a dvd drive or aux input, but the blue tooth streaming is nice. Just means passengers are stuck listening to my music :)
