Dyno tune +/- SST Sept 11th 2013

THE DEAL :

I'm heading up to do a few dyno tunes in Croydon in the next few weeks (August 2013).
Primarily I'm catching up with Scott_Drake, but we will have access to the dyno for an entire day.
It will be midweek most likely ( a Wednesday if I get my way )

I'll happily catch up with people to do SST flashes for Ralliart lancer, and dyno tunes for RA/NA Lancer/Evo 5-10, or dish out base maps for those who are time or cash poor

It would be great if we could get say 2 additional dyno tune people to make the day worthwhile, and I can do SST reflashing in between times while i'm up there

For any potential dyno tune people, you would need to ensure your car is mechanically sound before it goes on the rollers. Dyno hire is $100/hour and you don't want me fixing little mechanical niggles while it is strapped down!

We're going to try and lock in a mutually convenient date very soon, so anyone who is interested please let me know

late August I'd say... will firm up a date in the next few days hopefully, mostly is depends on Scott and myself having a date we can both use, and then we'll do our best to accommodate anyone else who is interested

Ok club, ive spoken to Adam and it will be end of this month to beginning- mid next month, no exact date yet...It will 99% be on a wednesday....My mechanic does not want ANYONE and i mean ANYONE to distract hes workers or wonder around the workshop what so ever and asking stupid questions....he runs a very busy shop, no one will be aloud into the dyno room except Adam and the owner of the car..NO QUESTIONS.. you can only watch from out side....I have vouched to my mechanic that it will be a very small group that will be on best behavior...


Adam and I do NOT have the time to waste on dyno pulls/runs just to see what power you make, if you want a pull/run please go to another shop as we dont have time to mess about, this is a strictly TUNE DAY at the shop....there will be 2 Full tune cars, and a few 2 Touch up tunes.... there may be more depending on time, The full tunes will take up till around 1-2pm... were guessing and hopefully should be able to squeeze in a few touch ups......We have the dyno until 5.30pm we need to be out the shop by 5.45pm

The dyno fees are a flat rate of $100 per HOUR per car....Even if your tune is 30mins you still pay the rate of $100...

And who ever gets Adam to tune their cars you will have to chip in money for the flights....We will be splitting the cost EVENLY....If we have 4 tunes i cant imagine it being more then $70-$100 per person....
