Cleaned my car for about 3 hours, because something was sprayed all over it while I was at work, like cement. Blackvue didn't see much other then a sprinkler affect :(

Any construction sites near the area you were parked; or do you know of any work that may have been carried out in the immediate area while your car was there?

If you couldn't remove the substance from your car and answered 'yes' to any of the above, you should try and contact any entity responsible for the works. Someone I know of had their car damaged at a carpark next to a construction site, and the owner of the business where the construction was being carried out agreed to pay for repairs when he was asked.

If that was the case, at least you'd know someone really liked your car.

People do strange things. There was a news article a few years back about a man who parked his Lamborghini Murcielago outside a bar for a few minutes. In that time, a drunk guy walked over the top of it, causing $60,000.00 of damage IIRC.

Installed my seat cover replacements and what a pain. Getting too old for this.

I noticed a new dent on my rear fender - near the petrol filler door. I'm usually fairly careful where I park, I avoid shopping centres on weekends like the plague - it just pisses me off that people don't seem to care that they hit a car next to theirs in carparks. This new one caused quite a considerable noticeable scrape and dent.

Sometimes I think having an inconspicuous car isn't the way - if I had an outlandish bright fluorescent orange car, or an exotic hypercar people would see it and respect it enough not to deliberately knock into it, but when it looks like a generic entry level hatchback the carefactor goes down...

People just don't care about others property full stop. Had a lady once leave a trolley in the middle of a car space and it started slowly rolling away straight towards my car. I jumped out of the drivers seat ran around the car and grabbed it just before it smashed into the passengers side door. She just watched it happen and all she could say is sorry.

Yeah I lost it. What set me off even more, the trolley bay was closer than where she left it.

Took the spoiler off, hung it up in the garage and have put on one coat of Plastidip. I quite like the wingless look but don't really want to have unsightly holes in the boot lid.

Spoiler will be black soon. Pics to come. :D
