Lets not forget wheels and rubber, I noticed remarkable difference in handling getting wider wheels and stickier tyres!

How many KM's has your 2011 done?

Hey Jade,

Yeah will be getting some new rims and tyres soon. Just ordered the Tactrix. Its got a fair few Km on it for its age 65k, but it was looked after really well, i couldn't tell the difference inside between it and a brand new one, and it was serviced regularly, so i didn't really worry about the high k's.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone, seems like a very friendly place here.

Whoa I thought I'd done a few KM's at 43,000 and one month off owning car for 2 years.

I'm running 18 x 8.5 with 245/40/18 rubber it limits your choice of styles but I think well worth it for handling, good cheap easy (family friendly) mod ;-)

Makes a difference doesn't it. Have you gone boost pill or just the stock for now? How nervous were you during your first ever Flash? Just beware, on my second flash I did a test write first, and knocked the usb lead out. No harm as it was a test but I sit very very still now when I'm doing it ;)

Yeah during the first try I was very worried. Just did the base tune, going to order the boost pill now I know it works, just trying to get evoscan to work properly now.

Re evoscan look at the rax patch fast logging setting. I thought Richard had made it a part of the gst tunes now but not sure if you need the definition file as well or if it is included with the roms now on goldenevo's site. On ecuflash the rax patch stuff isc right at the bottom of the tables in the right hand column
