My aux wire stuffed up; it only played from one side of speakers and the other side kept coming in and out. So I had to replace it.
LED flashlight with a magnet on the back of it ftw; made it a lot easier to work on that wiring when it started to get dark.
I also realized this today:
Would've done a lot better than tape, but tape does the job until then.

At first it's a bit scary cos you might snap clips off, but after that I got used to opening it up and it was easy as.

That's the how-to for it.
Btw the clip that connects the warning lights (that red triangle) was a bitch to try and take off so I gave up on the idea, hope that doesn't happen to you lol.

Yeah, pretty happy with the results. A whole load of sound deadener on the inside of the doors makes for a solid base for my speakers. FYI - took almost 2 hrs to get the first run of speaker cable though from the passenger door to the car through the grommet - a long cable tie is the way to go. 15 min for the driver side door....
