Hes tuned a lot of people's cars... Try the search bar.

Haven't seen any negative feedback so far.

Like Jake said, please use the search bar in the future.

He has tuned my car as well, would definitely recommend it once you have done exhaust/headers/intake :)

He's worked on my car too - naturally aspirated like yours. Just remember to do any physical/mechanical mods BEFORE you do the tune.
I couldn't recommend him enough; his work is exceptional and I've noticed a big improvement in responsiveness, acceleration, and fuel economy.

Nothing major worth measuring on a stock car. However the ECU tune is well worth is (best money spent on my car by far) there's a noticeable improvement in acceleration and all around responsiveness. Feels like a completely different car.

There was a member here who paid over $1500 for his NA lancer to be tuned on a dyno, the result was almost the same as a Merlin tune. Without spending big money doing over the top mods (engine displacement, throttle body boring etc) its the best way to go.

For bigger top end power gains you would need to either run e85 and/or add a set of decent cams.

Either of those are doable.

Or, go mad like Ben and add a turbo - that wakes them up all right!

Dave, on an NA, does the usual RA snorkel, panel-filter swap and a cat-back exhaust make any real difference? (assuming a tune thereafter).

I'm hoping you say yes, but want to hear the expert opinion...

:-)
Cheers!

Zaphod, those are the best mods, and really the only mods you should bother to make, unless going nutso.

These cars do respond VERY well to a 200 cell CAT and exhaust.
The stock headers are ok so not a huge gain by upgrading them.

The Ralliart intake snorkle is a good mod, with a good panel filter, like a Cosworth (blue) or a Ralliart (red) if you can find one and afford it.
But the stock panel filter is pretty good as is.
I would not recommend the K&N panel filter.
The green HKS panel filter is good too, for tarmac use, I would not recommend it for dirt road use.

There are a few other tricks that I point out on tune day too.
