Try a small jl audio amp n 12" sub - not too expensive but a nice kick. Personally not into 6 * 9's as you either have to box em up or cut holes. Good set of splits up front and a decent sub in the boot n you'll be pumpin'

whatever you do, do not buy from major retailers such as jb hi fi, they sell low range stuff at high range prices
go online and take a look at elite electronics
they are melbourne based and provide massive discounts on like the best subs out there
delivery takes 2 days and it is free
i payed 100 dollars for one champion series sub, pretty damn cheap seeing as they retail for 300 dollars
and when it comes to an amp ill have a browse on ebay for you to find what best suits your needs
