Help-tailight install

Postby LuLu » Sat May 04, 2013 9:42 pm

Hey guys
So today for my birthday my mates gave me a set of taillights (the rectangular ones)
Now I'm halfway trough the install and I'm stuck on the inner install
On the left side inner there's 2 wires tht branch into connectors and the wires are made u of red green and black wires
The right side inner has only 1 clump of wiring that's green red and black
Does anyone know what these wires are? An why the right side inner only has 1 clump? I assume black is ground...
Thanks guys :)

yeah upload some pics so we can have a look :)

I used this as a guide

However, the video doesn't apply to all lancers
They will learn... I will always be a step ahead

Yeah I'll try and upload some pics soon
So I managed to chuck the lights in an all is good EXCEPT the left side reverse light doesn't not work at all... Everything else is fine, even the other reverse light but the left one does not work... Ideas?

Yeah used that video as a guide but my wiring had to be cut and harnesses removed cause they didn't fit so we manually matched everything
Correct me of I'm wrong but green is earth, red positive and black negative?

Yeah checked the bulb, it was fine :/
Thinking it may be connector wiring itself but I dunno tbh :(
