Some of the parking I've seen on my previous trip to Europe are crazy! Their parking skills are amazing as well.

On topic, I would have waited for the car owner to return.

I've driven those Micras before - they are THE EASIEST car in the world to park because you're sitting over the front wheels and the headlights are basically the tip of the car. What a douche!

I vote for picking it up and rotating it 180 degrees

As I said I'd kick the bumber in and then reverse back to make a little more damage then claim a new bumper bar of them through insurance

Ring your insurance company and give them there rego number. No matter how minor the damage its there fault and your bumper should be resprayed. I had a mark put on my bumper but fortunately the lady that hit it put her name and address on my windscreen. A lot of people wouldnt have worried about fixing it but the point is...it wasnt there when i parked the car and it should be fixed back to the way i left the car without a mark on it.
Total price to get the scratch repaired (About 6cm long, 1cm wide) $700.

The point is...the person that hit your car will either have to pay there excess and loose there no claim or...pay the whole amount.

Guess what???? They will think twice about doin it AGAIN....LooUser

Make them pay Dude. Make ....them....pay

PS:...Oh...I would have gotten a Black perm Marker and written on there back bumper "Stand Clear...i am a loser and cant park"

I would be furious if someone did that to my car! I would definitely entertain letting their tires down.
My missus has a Micra and, really, if you can't part a Micra you shouldn't be driving. Hope any damage is minimal!

Tomo, I've had worse on my old car. Someone reverse parallel parked in front of my Civic and they had rear left wheel up on the curb and one corner of their bumper into the front of my bumper.

It was like looking at a sad, demented Ford/Honda siamese twin vehicle.

I couldn't wait for the owner so I reversed back a foot and took a look at the damage on my car and funnily enough the plastic bumper popped out with an almost undetectable scuff. Their car bumper left a dent in their plastic. I thought that was a good outcome and took a photo. Will have to dig it out and have another laugh :)

I'd be careful bringing insurance into any situation similar to this one... All they have to do is say 'prove it' and it could work out worse for you than just sorting it out yourself (paying excess, losing your no-claim bonus. Some places put your rates up even if its proven to NOT be your fault).

And if you go and be an idiot and drive into them more you're just guaranteeing they'll deny it. Plus someone could see you doing that etc. Better ways to get revenge than that if that is your inclination.

Yeah unless they admit fault there is no way to prove your car didn't roll into theirs.

I condone vandalising the other car. I've been meaning to buy a metal pole to keep in the boot for just such occasions.
