Oh very nice mark.

Got a tow bar installed today!!! So now when people reverse into my car hopefully they will hit that first! Now I gotta find a decent bike rack.

I've heard SO many bad things about these, and even about RRM in general, but its hard to tell if its just hear-say or not. I was interested in them before but got scared off lol. :P

Hope it goes well :)

can anyone explain to me how this piggy thing is going to be better than tuning the ecus (multiple) maps?

eg
fuel, there are 5 maps to be tuned
spark, there are 6 maps to be tuned
mivec, there are 4 maps to be tuned

plus stuff like throttle response, rev limit and idle tweaks.

and, if the spark gets arbitarially advanced, the ecu will knock, start retarding the timing and start working into the Lo-Octane fuel maps which are way richer than the Hi-Octane fuel maps, so your fuel economy will go down the drain. By which point it will be running rich again. Sheesh!

Off their site:
This unit unlocks the power potential that is untapped by modifying the MAP sensor signal to your ECU and advances ignition timing.

So... It basically just tells the engine theres more air? Because all the MAP sensor does is measure pressure...

I think it runs more advance timing so u can take advantage of higher octane fuel, and I think it also makes the car run leaner so that's why we hear a lot of engines blowing because of these. I mean it cost almost as much or close to get a tune anyway, I see no benefit of it over a tune as Merlin explained
