Yeh
I used to have a 1996 V6 Opel Calibra...same engine as vectra apparently. Most unreliable car I've seen...ever. Can't believe how much money I spent fixing it up.
JDM? Only meet I've been to( besides ccj meets) is the top secret imports mega meet..lol

yeah thats about right, except mine decided to die at lights while waiting and just as the lights went green. A truck nearly hit me and thats what really motivated me to leave that car behind me.
Ahhhahahah don't be upset! just loom at your car now ;) a beautiful machine

You vectras are very unreliable and as for ts Astra not far behind and ah Astra unless you get diesel ah Astra (rocket) and more reliable. Get petrol expect airflow sensors, coils , cams sensors , ecu to go and Sh!t themself. I'm a holden machine and see them come in a lot. Lol

The worst thing was that I had to order parts from the UK, because Holden didn't have them here or wanted a lot of $ for them. So then my car would be sitting at the mechanics workshop for weeks.

Near the end I found out that the oil mixed with the coolant. After selling it, I found out it was most likely the head that had cracked. Oh well, it is probably sitting in a scrap yard. Rego and insurance was cancelled....yes I stalked my car.

Lol that's true. Parts needed to come from UK. I had a v6 veteran come in 2 weeks ago for cruise control turning of automatically. I found it was a clutch switch. So I had to order that. Come from UK and took about 1 week and 2 days to get here.

If you took the radiator cap off was the coolant bubbling? If it wasn't it be just a head gasket. Not a crack head.

Didn't look I don't think. Looked in the coolant bottle and there was a brown sludge like substance. Together with the idling problems and oil leak.....dun dun dunnnnnn

I've waited over a month for parts
