I would like a CJ badge that fits in with the Lancer one, similar font and definitely same colour. (shade). That'd look professional & hawt XD

As in, before the "lancer"

making it a "CJ Lancer" badge?
Sounds good too - and if I get onto the other badges should be easy enough to just chop the "CJ" out of it...

I asked the boss today.. I was a little off it turns out... the boat badges are $100 a pair - so only $50 each... and he's happy for me to do it on my own time / not charge for hours, only materials :-) so should be cheaper!

...And I'm still have to hear back from a plastic moulder, might be cheaper still!

Don't have a clue how much they're gonna cost to chrome tho - I didn't consider that at first... no one works for a metal/plastic plating company do they?

I'll start a new thread on this "Chrome 'ClubCJ' Badges" once I've finalised designs / manufacure process :-D

Thanks 4 the support people!
Keep posting any suggestions here!

Do we include the .net? so people know how to reach the website? or just have "ClubCJ, CJ Lancer Club" and that's it?

I'm kinda thinking leave the .net off?

I had a look at the car this afternoon, and a badge in the same font as the ES, VR, VRX badge would be good

I would like to put a "Club CJ" badge above my VRX badge, and for those that have had theirs removed, it could be placed in the same location as the old badge.

As I mentioned earlier, colour matching would be very important.

Colour matching should be easy... pretty sure it's just a std chrome plating that most car badges get...

Which is what I'll be going for - should be the exact same, I'll ask for a sample of their chrome plating before I get the badges plated tho - no worries ;-)

Well we manufacture brake and clutch cylinders, seals, clutch release bearings etc. So we have everything from a simple lath to the state of the art Fanuc robotics plant. So I can manufacture anything really. But now I see why its more expensive. I dont understand y u guys dont have a router though. Its not that expensive :/

No need - we're not usually in the biz of badgemaking! I'd love to get a small router or mini-mill to do this sorta work quicker and easier... but I'm not the boss, I don't choose the machinery!

Still haven't heard from the plastic moulders - might have to try a different crowd...

VERY VERY INTERESTED FOR ASAP PRODUCTION

Postby anghel132 » Wed Apr 03, 2013 12:42 pm

Heya folks, you guys still planning on these? I'm seriously looking for a set of badges made. (and my sister wants some too). I coould probably make orders here and there..

I can provide the image in vector format, or in 3D. Let me know what file format you need.

The first one I want is essentially the word "Kapatid" which means Brother/Sister in Tagalog, in rage italics. About 45mm high ~ 120mm long

How does that sound? Very very eager to get this rolling.
