Forgot about this thread.
fitted my newly arrived 4-2-1 Super Circuit headers.
Attached RA snorkel too.
feels like there is more low end torque.
I don't think I'm going to bother with a fart cannon.
I cant seem to justify $$$ and I am worried about the CVT drone on the highway.
i would have to sit and listen in someones car before i would even consider changing the exhaust.
reckon just a tune next. and that's it

The RA snorkel is very easy. it just clips in on the air box side.
The front intake side I had to use cable ties as the mounting screws did not line up from the original NA mounts.
The SS 4-2-1 headers were a little tricky and very time consuming as both of us had not done this before.
some of the original bolts were so friggen tight.
and when i took of the heat shield i sort of bent it. so i had to hammer it back into shape.
In my opinion the 4-2-1 header replacement is definitely a 2 man job for non mechanics.
Follow the guides on here and keep a copy of the Lancer Workshop manual its very detailed in the diagrams of what to take off first.

he Daniel in stead of upswing cable tues with a knife cut out the front scuff protector plate where the snorkel goes and the screws will pop straight in without the use of of cable ties I've seen it done and it looks neaterhimynameisdaniel wrote:The RA snorkel is very easy. it just clips in on the air box side. Apparently I cut some guy off.
Guy in front of me and I went into overtaking lane. He overtook and didn't merge back. I drove up closer to him...then pulled back a bit. He slams his breaks on. I move into left lane. I speed up to overtake him. He speeds up too...so I back off a bit cos I didn't wanna go that fast. he has a car full of guys obviously egging him on.
And cos he was being an idiot, I merged in front him and he got closer so I hit my breaks. Stupid mistake on my behalf...but a fine that big with a perfect driving record.

Mine was a straight direct fit. I have no idea if it makes a difference but I'm using a different screw as I somehow manage to lose one of them during the swap xD
