Eh.....???

Nearly 3 hrs to Woodford via that twisty path (which can be trimmed).... Then, less than an hour or so back down the highway... to Aspley. For the Southsiders, it's even a bit more of a hack to get home....

Maybe 3-5 hours driving over the span of the whole day... But most of the Qld. full day cruise's are designed for travel over the majority of the day.... that's the point - TWISTIES ! :P :P

C'mon Pete - I reckon I'm older than you - Steve is... for sure... LOL

I just look younger cause i still have most of my hair and dye it...kidding...just kidding...but im younger than i look evedentely lol.
Twisties are good but you get stuck behind slow cars, the roads ...well..a pothole can come up overnight and unless you drive to the suggested speed limits ...just dangerous. Oh...and last time my passengers got car sick lol. Id rather a track day @ lakeside for some fun driving..."Balls Out"
A lot of people say ...oh no...i wont track my car!!! but twisties can be harder on it !!! depends on how you drive your car on both.
Annnnnnnnyway...that south/west sounds good Tarquin...have we ever done a weekend overnight club cruise??? OR...a cruise/cruise...where its not an all out race?...sry...spirited drive lol....eg: just a drive up to Lake Catharaba??

you can count me in, I'll make sure I'm not working on the day of this cruise.
Back when I had my Red P Plates (and there wasn't those stupid portable traffic lights on Mt Nebo) I knew the road on Mt Nebo like the back of my hand :)
I wouldn't mind following along on the dummy run too :)

im going up mt glorious next wednesday from kallangur, theres a couple of accommodation options up there but a bit on the expensive side and only for quite small groups (staying at mt glorious getaway cottages). im planning on going down the back of the mountain towards wivenhoe on friday, want to stretch it out to a full day, maybe mt glorious-esk-crows nest.
