Gave the car a clean and cleaned the mags as SIX420 demanded :)

Elm327 Bluetooth adapter works good with a Windows program called "TouchScan" on the netbook.

Supplemented the boot light with a strip of LEDs underneath the parcel shelf. Can now see things when they're in the boot! Complete with neat little plug for when taking the shelf out.
