Thursdays really don't suit me guys. Workdays. can't stay out.
I think others like me that have to hold down a 9-5 job wont be able to go to a thursday meet.

As for cops... I can't say I've really seen any on fridays or saturdays. as long as you don't drive like an idiot they wont pull you over.

I agree fortnightly is much better. I still think Thursday evenings are better, remember it does not have to e set in stone, but a general agreement that is the meet night. It could always be shifted to a Sunday or whatever depending on numbers.

As far as meet locations go, if you meet in an area close to shops, businesses or say a railway station car park you Will get a visit from the hard working and busy Police, and yes you will be moved on. These areas are not places for a public gathering, a park, reserve or te beach is.

yes it's not as cool to some, and yes less people see your ride, but if you meet in a place like a shopping centre car park you will more than likely get a visit from the boys in blue. If its a traffic car expect them to go right over and through your car for road worthiness. That's their job.

I suggest no hard set meeting place, keep it interesting, keep it low key.

Just a tip and suggestion, either way great to see the meeting issue gather some momentum :)

@denzza yeah man. I'm in Narre South, and at the kebab shop usually every week or so haha. As for it being a public place, police usually come past but don't cause any trouble for people. Unless of course you drive a commy :D

Alright, i was thinking!

Weekly = Its too frequent and people would get over it quickly haha

Monthly = Its not too bad, But once a month is so long and if you cant make it on that day then you have to wait another month :(

So i reckon, Fortnightly would fit best! If you miss one, theres one every 2 weeks.

Monthly is more like the whole of ClubCJ VIC :D

Mini meets and chill sesh should be Fortnightly so i will make a new Topic, and you guys can vote and after i have sufficient numbers! Tonight i will make a ClubCJ VIC meet this Thursday, Friday or Saturday.

Im trying to be fair! some people want Thursdays some dont. But i guess where ever the majority of people go, i will go on that.

Thanks guys!
Denis

If you wanna mix it up some, make it lotto dependent? Or any pets talented at picking winners :)

First draw is number of days until next meet.

Second draw location.

It's good that Victorians are trying to bring up the hype again. There was just some bad experience before when a drag meet at Heathcote ended up with three instead of the original ten participants that said they would come. Then, as one person said, there are only some casual FB meets being organised out of the blue and with very short notice.

Good on DTGRiff for successfully arranging a meet, and hopefully, it continues on.
