Why would they make their base model more luxurious? If you want better then buy a higher model, makes sense doesn't it...

The cup holder location does annoy me but it would still annoy me even if it was swapped around... Although really the only times they're in the way is with larger bottle lke powerade...

Speaking of cup holders they could make the door ones less useless

They're more expensive and slower for it as well.
They could release an AWD NA model here like they did in America, but it wouldn't sell well.

Subaru 115kw compared to lancer 113 as standard (comparing non turbo models). So not much in terms of kw but I dunno about other attributes. A family member of mine owns an RS and it ain't slower than my lancer . And id appreciate the feeling of AWD around corners (I'm no race driver)

Is yours a CVT? :P
They are slower. Off the line especially.
AWD also doesn't really give you 'more grip' unless its poor road conditions. Not in a car that can't really break traction with 2 wheels let alone 4 anyway :P

Comparing power doesn't really work. Its the added drivetrain friction that slows it down.

lol... The taiwan lancer (i0)... just got released maybe around under 2 years now? Which is like our CJ.

They had some other version 2010 when I was there and it looked like a lancer on roids, but that was there lancer design before they got the i0.

This is a newer i0 ... maybe a concept I don't know, I've been in the new i0 in Taiwan, and all I can say there interior is better than ours they all have a nice leather interior. All have HID also :) from 1.8 to 2.0L models.

Yeah that's not a new Lancer. That's the Taiwanese iO as Mick pointed out.
To date, no concept drawings of the next Lancer are in public circulation.
