Another thing I've also figure out today playing with the wiring harness I got from the wreckers, The plug head which we need to feed into the seat heater under the seat is the same type and size as that used for the Rockford Forsgate Sub.

Request
So my next request is if any of you without a Rockford and won't be putting one in, could you snip off the plug head which is hanging out in the boot of your car and send it to me please? I already have one from the wiring harness set here. Need another.
Would make things much neater.

That is good info Ofey. I was wondering if we could get that wiring loom plug from.

What models will have the Rockford plug not being used?

All Lancers. I've seen it in an ES Lancer here in Melbourne. The plug is just hanging there.

So anyone here without any desire of installing a RF Subwoofer, please snip the head off and send it to me please??

before you get people to snip off the wires, are we sure there is no current running through them? dont want to bow a headset fuse or anything......

Yes cut each wire 1 at a time and then put some insulation tape on the end.

Also leave at least 50mm length of wires on the plug for us to connect to.

If there is any one in SA willing to give me theirs it would be appreciated too.

Nope certainly not. The end of that wire is plugged into a blank since you don't have an amplifier.

Anyone had any luck hooking it up

just wondering if you had trouble connecting it up?
I've put a relay in and there is a fuse already there, connected the connections under the seats put the wire loom in under the cup holder to the switch and nothing. Relay is warm, the switch lights up with headlights on but that's it, could anyone help me? Cheers really appreciate it
