Missing valve caps...:-(

Took the car for a drive this morning and just noticed that some not so nice person helped themselves to my ralliart valves caps....not happy Especially since they have been discontinued...... Always baffles me how someone can help themselves to others things..... Yeah I know it's a small thing, but annoying.

I agree with you, don't understand how someone can have the confidence to boldly walk up and just take them!

Luckily I have a CCTV camera (from a nearby office) that oversea's my car and they've agreed to provide me with footage if anything happens to it.

Just keep an eye on Gumtree or eBay, they'll turn up soon, then offer cash on collection and then meet and beat

its sad what some people do. my bf doesnt have valve caps on his car anymore. He has a HSV and was spewing when his valve caps went missing. he had replaced them like 4 times and now has given up. where he has to park his car for work each day is a very popular area.

I have lost 2 sets of Rays valve caps... I guess they liked the red, cause the chromies my mates at Liverpool jax put on havent been touched!! :/

i had these bright chrome ones on my old car and they lasted 1 year which i was impressed with

i recently got some cheap knock off ralliart ones for my car but they are black so they dont stand out

I think its pretty silly to buy special ones cos this does happen...
My first lancer had red ones when I bought it. 2 disappeared. Replaced them with similar ones, disappeared again.

My current wheels came with cheap chrome ones. They look good though. Luckily nobody has touched them (though I have to check now ).
Coloured ones are a magnet for theives.

Idk if people steal them to put on their car or just steal them to mess with you but aren't brave enough to do anything significant.

Its always kids that do it, they take them to just collect them or put them on their bikes lol. A lot of guys back in high school were obsessed with stealing them. They would lurk car parks for that sole purpose. I remember some guy had like 20 different sets at one point from 8 ball shaped ones to bullets haha. So dont park near schools!

I've actually been in the situation where I saw kids hanging around my car trying to take them. I ended up chasing them down the street and they handed them back to me. Don't think they'll ever do that again

I am however missing one now, but i think thats because my tyre shop misplaced it and put a black one on instead.
