I know I dangled a carrot yesterday regarding the tail lights.
Our potential new US sponsor has given us a quote now:

I say less than A$600.00 because it's the first time we'll be trading with them, we're not sure about the hidden costs i.e. exchange rate and money TT costs either by PayPal or Banks. suffice to say, group buying will save on these costs. However, the price will NOT exceed A$600.00 to get it to your door. We will obviously refund you any additionals but I've saved you another A$98.00 on the local sponsor price.

I've been instructed by them not to disclose their identity yet but rest assured they're a very respectable company whose email and contact us settings work unlike the Jeff Phillips Link some people have provided. Ozie knows about them but they want to see take up before actually coming on.

So who's up for it?

I'l tell you what my dealer once told me:

"Any aftermarket parts from the manufacturer is meant to recoup whatever they lose to you at the point of sale."

How much do you think they were going to cost? $30-$40? They would have thrown that into the car had it cost that much.

If you aren't willing to pay that staggering kind of amounts, I suggest eBay. Some knock off Momo-like ones will be about there.

Can I reiterate what I said, these are just covers. They will sell you the Leather covers to fit a size of Recaro seats. So you can even buy a Recaro knock off and dress it up in these. I'll get a price quote soon.
