Also love this feature, although when of my Smart Keys wouldn't start the car it is so annoying to have to start the car with the key and the key fob on the end!

The other day I left my smart key in the mechanics pocket, and drove 6 blocks in heavy traffic before he rang. I made it all the way back to pick the key up. Very greatful they do stuff up!! lol.

You should also have got the warning on your Dash "Key Not Detected"
I've been driving and the keys have moved towards the back of the seat and I get the warning...
Freaks me out cause I think the battery is flat and I dont have a spare in the car!!

Thanks Steve I'll remember that for next time!!

The warning on the dash had returned back to my fuel gauge because the mechanic left it running when he backed it out hence he had the key in his pocket, not to worry alls well ends well

I find that it depends on what sort of pants you are wearing and what else in your pocket too! Mine usually unlocks majority of the time wthout pushing the button on the Smart Key remote!

I keep my keys in the same pocket as my phone. I've found that sometimes the phone becomes a bit of a radio jammer or something and i cant open the car door. Taking away the phone immediately lets me open the door
