ok sweet, this is starting to get a bit of attention!
april sounds like a goer. this gives us enough time to give work notice for time off, and to get things organised like accommodation. i think by april, peak season is finished so that means things r cheaper!

Ok i have put up a poll for the dates in April. Please vote on what weekend suits you best.
Food for thought-Anzac day is on thurs 25th, which means it will be a public holiday. This might make it easier for people with work cos they will get thurs off and take the friday off, unless they are involved in Anzac day activities, or have to work public hols.

April 20 onward sounds good.
Can do a clubcj.net and rcolt.com meet as there are a handful of keen rcolt enthusiasts from both states from Vic and SA who showed interest when a similar thread was posted on there previously.
If you guys are serious I'll chase up my fellow rcolters, but the shorter the notice the less likely it will happen

I read what said Erin, which is true. With more people we might have problems with accommodation. Unless everyone organises that themselves. However it is nice if we are all close by.
I quite like the idea of a holiday house, we all have our own rooms for privacy and it works out to be a lot cheaper then a hotel room.
OR we can hire out the show grounds and everyone camps in tents/swags.
