Okay I fixed my navigation..
Either the car needs to be running, not just powered, or my system needed restarting after I put the SD card in properly (was getting the same clipping problem, just had to go deeper ).
Anyway it works now.
I don't have an old ipod or anything apple to use for music so basically I'm stuck with CDs... plus if I use 'real' CDs then it won't know the file names... I'm just going to end up with a heap of folders with 'Track 1 Track 2' etc unless I burn everything...

On that note, Ive found the only way I can play music off a USB stick is in the console music player (which sucks), and it only plays through the front speakers normal radio and CDs dont have that problem... The USB option in the main menu seems to just search for video files, which I havent tried yet. Kinda seems like the only way to correctly play music or copy music onto it is with CDs
Erm... how is your USB stick formatted? I suspect being the unit is a WinCE 6.0 based device you may have to unsure your USB is formatted using the FAT32 file system type and not NTFS.... just a thought.

For my HU, everything is flush, just the top middle have a small gap and that made it a bit obvious, but cant complain for the money spent =]
