has anyone ever seen this in your CJ?

My Boyfriend went to change my interior lights and this is what he found once took the cover off?

Like they worked never had a issue but my boyfriend had spare lights left over that he got for his car and then used them in mine. It's just very odd as i've never seen this before and 3 other of my mates that have CJ's There's dont look like that only mine :(

dafuq? How did that happen? Is the bulb stock? If so I'd be showing that to Mitsubishi!

Nice job that light bulb has done. Wth would it of touched the plastics look in tact

There is no way that small wattage bulb could generate that much heat to melt plastic.

I don't recall anything like that above the lamp cavity.

Someone has placed some in there to melt, or someone has placed the melted mess.
