Change Hood Rubber Colour - from Black to White

Postby Ozie » Wed Nov 05, 2008 7:55 pm

Well over the past week i have been thinking about this mod "how to paint the rubber on the bonnet"
and i came up with this brand New mod , Just run coloured Gaf/Duck tape over the length of the rubber!,
i got White for my WW CJ, so you might have to look for different colored tape! it sticks very well and covers the rubber perfect!
you can even run it past the rubber to make the hood flush with the front of the car, i just put it on it i looks Amazing!
its night time now so i will take pics tomorrow and post them.

thanks to Josh Emerton for the inspiration.........

pics added!

Lol post it up haha
black for matty'
Altho his is already black i suppose so its irrelevant
It does look good though?
Btw sry for not posting pics of my car yet I'm so broke it isnt funny...Im trying to buy a card-reader but yeah.
The bowling is taking large chunks out of my money - I bowl league twice a week and a lot of tournaments as well and each costs on average $25...it adds up. I'm bowling for the Cairns adult team on sunday actually.
Anyway - NICE one.

More offtopic btw's - Can you send me the link for the 'accepted' flyer for ClubCJ?
I'm assuming its the one that won the comp.
I'm going to print it out a lot, stick it on CJ windscreens, give a whole pile to the Mitsubishi garage - i know the people at ours quite well on a personal level so I'll get em to hand em out with lancer sales lol.
