New Colt...

Postby Ravine » Sun May 10, 2009 7:47 pm

I think Mitsubishi is going overboard with the new Lancer grille. They're putting it on EVERYTHING and god it is NOT WORKING.

However on this...i don't know if i approve or i don't....i definitely didn't approve of the new Outlander that was bloody ugly and even on the Sportsback was pushing it due to mishapped dimensions....this is like.... weird.

Or if the above does not work

I'm not so sure it's a bad idea. You know with Audi and BMW? They do it too! Look at Audi's front grill, it's the same on ALL their cars, just different sizes. Same applies to BMW, They have a trademark front grill look.

If the design feature works, work it! Thats been proven.

It does remove the uniquness of the Lancer but I doubt Mitsu looked it that way. For them, I think this Lancer has saved their business and they're looking at their product line and they want to do it across the line and really I can't blame them.

p.s. Did you know they even took the steering wheel?

Yeah i took a look all around that new Colt and they have taken alot of parts and put it in. I must say their interior looks great. I love the gear stick with the two cup holders. Looks just like a Mini Cooper. Comes with a chilled glove box too. They also now come with the auto rain and light sensors too. No smart key though =b.

And god damn, the Ralliart looks good! It actually looks good now. I was looking at the Colt from side on and it looks great. It's low enough to make the grille work. However, they took the bonnet "speed holes" out.

getting used to the idea. THe Outlander was a littel disjointed...side does not match front.

Think the 3 door is ok (Hiroshima...... I stole the Mazda!!!)
5 door a little ungainly, like the Outaander.

As for colours....like the Burgandy (whatever it is called)...oh Cranberry thats right)
