I think we just do the Firle, MtLofty, Blackwood run and have dinner at Barnicle Bills or Cafe Premo.

A Friday night will probably fit in to most people's busy Christmas schedule.

Yeah having a bit of a run somewhere and then going to a nearby place to eat would be a great idea. :) I'm in for going to Mt Lofty and heading to Primo at Blackwood.

And as Troy said, doing this on a Friday would be better.. but that's because I've just got something on from 15th to 24th every night. Hopefully most people would be available on a Friday.

We have never had an issue with parking at MtLofty.

As for cost premium members should be covered by the ccj kitty which should be very large.

Yes It's good if e can all park together.

Other good thing at Blackwood is the option of what to eat. As well as primo, Barnicle Bill there is Hungry Jacks as well.

Another option is Windy point but that is not cheap either.

If we do it on a Friday Night what time would we meet, as I usually work till like 5 or 6pm and I am one hour north of Adelaide so I would not be able to make it till like 7pm-ish in the central Adelaide Area, if it is down South (eg. Victor Harbor) it would be like 8pm before I got there! :(

If you are looking for a decent hotel central to Adelaide I would suggest maybe the Hampstead Hotel on the corner of North East Rd and Hampstead Rd which has average priced meals (just above the ABC TV building in Collinswood).

It is too busy around Lobethal at Christmas time for a cruise. There are always thousands of cars and buses.

Erin Lobethal is rediculous busy. Most streets are shut off and a one way route is enforced. It goes for kilometres and often goes slower then walking pace.

I love going to Lobethal at Christmas with the family but not really suitable for a cruise. If you get a chance to go through Lobethal though it is well worth it. Just a tip though, don't drink to much before you go because there is nothing worse then being stuck in a traffic jam where there is know where to park and no toilets. I did this with a girlfriend 18 years ago and she knocked on a door and asked to use their toilet. I travelled less then 50 metres in this time.
