i`ve done it, u dont need a spring compressor though u may need to hire a rattle gun for the front struts

go to autobarn or super cheap auto.. they are about $30 bucks, me and my mate had no idea how to do but i watched some videos and forums ill find the video now..

your welcome yeah just need to watch out.. keep using the spring compressor till the actual coil starts to move and you can take the top strut bolt off slap the new one on and do everything in reverse

and yeah, i know a few places, they charge $100 an hour.. they can easily do it on an hour since they are professionals but they want money so they will go to 2 hours

At my work, $480. And that's even what I have to pay

any mechanic could do it in less than 3 hours, easily 2 with a hoist, u dont need to go to a specialist.
