Updating internal lights with LEDs

Postby somers181 » Mon Oct 15, 2012 7:21 pm

Hi, has anyone looked at upgrading internal lights with LEDs??

If so does anyone know how to remove the plastic lens to replace the globes as they tilt to turn on it doesnt look like there is any easy way to lever them out without cracking???

Any assistance would be appreciated....

Which internal lights? The one in the middle? (I was trying to do that tonight. I think you need a small screwdriver) sorry, not sure about tilting ones

the centre interior light requires 2 small screwdrivers on either side. Should just pop right off.

If you are talking about the LED interiors lights being sold on ebay i wouldnt recommend them. I bought a Red one and it does not light up the inside at all. Pretty much makes the interior light useless, not sure if the other colours are this bad.

If you look in the owners manual it tells you how to remove the covers. I just replaced mine, I bought a set from amazon.
