Road Fatalities are a Horrible way to report an Accident .... lets hope for the Best outcome for all others involved.

What colour was the Lancer .... ?
What's the initial of his first name .... ?
Any distinguishing parts of the Lancer eg: Mag Wheels, LED Tail Lights etc that you may have noticed.

That's a Blue EVO (front L/H Fog Light Surround).
I'm not familiar with the EVO drivers name either.

Not sure if the white Lancer (assumable Drag Racing) is someone associated with this club:
News Report wrote:A Wayville man, 21, who was driving a white Mitsubishi Lancer near Li's car at the time of the crash, has also been charged with causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of an accident.

Did see the crash on the news on 9! They said it was a blue Evolution X! A white Lancer was also seen with the blue Evo X as well as three other cars!

Feel sorry for the poor man from Birdwood who was killed, he had no chance of avoiding the crash!

People really need to learn that on the road, your car goes at the same pace as EVERYONE else. One does not think that they can do what they want and drive while endangering others. Also, if one asks for a silly drag race at the lights; they should've just ignored it. There really are douchebags on the road (mostly in SA) and people shouldn't bring themselves down to their level to do something reckless and stupid. Especially when you buy an expensive as car; should be looking after it with utmost care and not do stupid things on the road, and leaving the drags and races on the track.

Hopefully the best possible outcome does come out of this incident.

I'm one of the few with a white Lancer in Adelaide, but I'm 19 and live in Parafield Gardens. That Blue Evo doesn't seem to be a member. Haven't ever heard of any CCJ member in Adelaide with an Evo to be honest.
Crayon Pop "straight-five engine" dance ftw.

This story was all over the radio this morning.

The Adelaide Hills Mayor made some pretty damning and outrageous claims about ALL car clubs and what they supposedly get up to in the area.
Here is the link to the story yesterday, which clearly shows the two Lancers involved.

As you can see the white Lancer is very distinctive.

Quite distinctive actually. What a way to ruin an EVO though, I can't believe he's allowed to drive his taxi.

Not to mention giving every other "Lancer" owner a bad rep, as that's all it was reported as (in most cases)

So true. Honestly he shouldn't be driving at all!

I can understand the Mayor's point of view.
A great majority of those roads are very popular with motoring enthusiasts.
And it could be a easy victory for him with the locals if something is done.

It is a sad series of events however it should serve as a constant reminder that the road is for all users and laws must be respected.

Out of pure curiosity can anyone help identify what make\year of the Toyota Van.
From the photos (and no disrespect to anyone) that the Blue Lancer Evolution held up pretty well, not knowing the speed that both cars were traveling

Would say the Toyota van would be made in the 1990's

Far out, I was wondering why there was fuel and that powder all over the road early Monday morning. Thought it might have been off a car from bay to bird wood.

He shouldn't be able to drive his taxi until the case is sorted.
