Sump plug shouldn't be over torqued or you'll break it and have to helicoil it or get a new sump.

New throw-away washers are your friend too :D

I meant undoing it, if it's tricky to get in there with a spanner. I know about not over torquing helicoils from work.

I always use a socket set for bolts, easier to use than spanners I reckon
