Night cruise sounds good. I get most of my parts in tomorrow, so my car should be back on the road by then.

Hopefully I won't wreck it 2 days before like I did last time around

I've not been down zig zag before, nor on a cruise, but after seeing this map I definitely vote we take the next cruise there

Its one lane and only takes about 5 minutes, and all the 'corners' are 1st gear hairpins, so don't get too excited :P

Its good as a curiosity/something different though. You get the benefit of not having to worry about oncoming traffic with the downside of not wanting to fly down a huge hill.

Also, kangaroos

Is this a night or day cruise ?
I don't mind either but if it's night then
I would like to be passenger. Still no car so,
Roos, bike, night, don't want to test my luck.

We haven't seen any roos when we have been there (yet), but as Jake said it's nothing really to write home about in terms of going really really fast around corners. The cliff drop off is bloody scary.

Graham's brakes have failed on the zig zags once. He luckily had the presence of mind to pull the handbrake...

The view you get from the top is INCREDIBLE though. There is nothing like it in Perth. Kings Park eat your heart out.

So is this on the 16th? Or 21st to accommodate the people that can't make Sunday night?

Pulling the handbrake gently, and keeping the button pressed in, is actually quite effective. Gotta make sure you don't let go of the button though, or it'll lock - I had that experience once, luckily I was playing around on dirt and there was nothing to hit anywhere near by.

I'm good with either day, now my cars fixed I'll be able to make it to a cruise. Sick of it getting damaged soon before each one :(
