QLD lakeside track day CANCELLED!

If your not careful and you push hard it is easy to boil brakes. I have boiled mine after 10min track sessions on a low speed track. Lakeside might be a little better with the straights as the brakes could cool but be careful doing hard braking at the end of the main straight.
I am not trying to be a kill joy, if you driving in a sporting manner all good. If you drive it like a race car (I\'m guilty) you run the chance of over heating the brakes.
Stay safe y\'all and have fun, I still think a track day in my own car was better then driving a racing V8 car on slicks.

Yay my springs have arrived looks like i wil be driving 2inches closer to the Tarmac. Be great to test the handling thanks for the brakes advice Nathan . Being the rev head I am though, I do feel sorry for my poor vr lancer as she will be put through her paces. Will be trying so hard not to kiss any walls hahah
marcus, in a RA your brakes will most likely overheat.
i would spend $70/80 and get some street/sports pads and a hi temp 600 fluid.
a good investment anyway
try GSL rallysport
