What an epic event and week, I have never been so tired in my life.
Had a chat with Jeremy Foley on race-day morning - nice guy and a very well prepared Evo - now mostly confetti littering the mountain.
Paul Dallenbach exit from the mountain at 130mph was equally extream.
The Skelta was in a three-way fight for the minor placings as Romain Dumas in his Porsch GR3R was way in front and challenging for overall winner.
Our start time was very delayed - the race was red flagged at least six times - and started in very warm conditions but in the top section above Devils Playground, Jeff ran into a wall of rain and hail. I dont believe he has driven the Skelta in rain ever.
In any case, Randy Schranz took five seconds from Jeff in that section and that was the deciding factor.
Jeff finished third behind Romain and Randy and we are well pleased with the result. The first time an Australian made car has got a podium finish at Pikes Peak,
Of course, it was also the second time Jeff and Cath have made it to the podium at Pikes Peak and for me a second time for a PPIHC place winning tune under difficult conditions - very happy with the result.

A nice video of the Dacia Duster from 2011. The car was going well in 2012 but struck problems near the top of the mountain on race day.
I guess he has unfinished business and will be back to try again - like so many others.
